DAYTON -- Jetta Fosberg says her first day back to school was just how she wanted it. "Today was pretty normal no one really said anything about it."

Jetta spent Monday evening singing to seniors at the Oak Creek Terrace nursing home with her show choir and just like the happy positive songs she sang...she has remained positive too.

Monday was her first day back  to the Pathway School of Discovery after nearly a month away from the classroom because of a haircut. "There were a lot of people who said they like my hair longer and were saying some not so nice things about me calling me names."

That teasing turned into much more and when school officials didn't respond her mom and friends created a Facebook page "Stand With Jetta" and thousands did stand rallying to show support for the 10 year old who had gotten that haircut to help kids with cancer.

Mom, Heidi Fosberg says the support Jetta received was nothing short of incredible. "To know that there are that many people that care and have had either similar circumstances or even if they haven't they don't want other kids to go through that situation has been humbling."

The mom says sending her daughter back to the school was easy. "We wanted to turn it into something positive. We were in a position of empowerment making sure other kids don't find themselves in the same situation."

As the show choir wrapped up their performance, the other singers stood behind Jetta singing with her showing the girl just like the nearly than 120 thousand others have on Facebook that they had her back.

Jetta who was a guest on the Queen Latifah show last week and has been contacted by those nationally and internationally called all the support amazing.

Heidi Fosberg says the school has implemented a number of changes among them,  several staff members have been given additional training, a program called Be Nice which deals with Anti-Bully is being brought in and the Fosbergs have received several apologies from staff and students.
