The 49ers vs Rams finale is like last year which is for the second year in a row meaningless. Hopefully this scenario is going to be the last for the last time for awhile. It appears the 49ers will be looking at each, and every healthy rookie or 2nd year player on the roster. Garçon will continue to be missing from the lineup and on the IR. Marquise Goodwin is now all but announced to be out for this week. Dante Pettis will also not be seeing any action this Sunday against the Rams. It also appears that Jeff Wilson will lead the running attack this Sunday as Matt Breida will be made to sit this one out.
One exciting wrinkle in this game is that 49ers fans will have the opportunity to see the big receiver out of Texas Steven Dunbar who has been on the #49ers practice squad.
The big story of this Rams game is going to be is, will the defense continue to look as ferocious as they have been the past couple of weeks? One of the byproducts of this time of the season is that young players trying to make the roster are playing all out. If they have any talent everybody will find out. Players like Elijah Lee, D.J.Reed Tarvarius Moore, Marcell Harris, and Jullian Taylor can get some serious attention if they come up large in this game.
The Rams will not start their second & third string against the 49ers this season with the playoff seating still dependent on wins. The Rams are full aware of the fact that if they make mistakes this 49ers team is capable of beating them. Gurley not play, and the Rams aren’t looking as potent without him. The Rams defense is not as intimidating right now as they were earlier in the year.
We can look for a real tough game from Nick Mullens who is dying to redeem himself after last weeks final play huge fail.
What do you think the outcome will be, and what will the score be?
