Here's my quick review of the SanDisk Extreme 500 Portable SSD 0.85" SDSSDEXT-480G-G25, available on Amazon. Short story is it's super fast - as fast as my desktop 7200 rpm MyBooks for video renders - but much faster when it comes to write speeds. It's amazingly compact and light. This one may be my segue to solid state storage rather than spinning drives.
