The new Towne Center at Luther Acres in Lititz has a small movie theater, a gift shop, a cafe and a pub, ready to host Monday Night football gatherings or wine and cheese receptions. There is a community room, with Wi-Fi and a big screen TV, where residents recently gathered for a murder mystery dinner. Outside are patios with umbrella tables, chairs and a gas firepit. Nearby is a putting green that is adjacent to the fitness center, which hosts both Zumba classes and a masseuse. The new $8.5 million Towne Center is designed so that the 650 residents at Luther Acres can live a full life that connects them to the community and to each other, officials say.
