A highly unscientific mic test with the awesome Lindsay Mower. Lindsay is a saxophonist, guitarist and songwriter.

She visited my little studio on the same day as my new AKG D5 arrived in the mail. So we decided to test it against some other random mics in the studio.

Mics tested:
Sontronics Sigma
Telefunken AR-51
Neumann U87
AKG D5
Milab VIP50

Preamps used is a Earthworks ZDT 1022. All the files are unprocessed, and I tried to match levels on the preamp.

Enjoy :)
