Thought that I should share how I soldered my Polulu to the WASP II PDB. It is actually no that complicated. The steps are as follow: 1) cut down the angled part of the pins so that the remaining part is around 1-2 mm 2) Push down the plastic distance a bit so that you have enough room for the soldering iron tip 3) Fixate the PDB with a weight and the pins onto the soldering pads on the PDB. Solder each pin til all is soldered. Hold the solder iron tip on the horizontal par tof the pin adn the soldering iron tip will help holding the pins in the right position, add a little soldering tin. 4) Pull of the plastic distance material and use a pair of pliers to carefully bend the pins so that they are standing straight up. 5) Cut the pins so that their is enough left for the Polulu circuit board. Add some double sided tape to the Polulu and place it on the pins (make sure that the orientation is right). Don't forget to solder the short between SHDN and Vin if it is required for your specific Polulu. 6) solder each pin on the Polulu cirquit board. 7) Continue measure everything and also connect battery an measure the out voltage on Vref 1 or 2 (which ever you used) and make sure that you get the right voltage out. 8) Put some masking tape around the Polulu on the PDB and use liquid tape or similar to insulate all the contact areas to prevent a short. Have fun and fly it like you stole it ;) Over and out from Kajakmannen
