A superb piece of blues from Dave aka Rickplayer on Wikiloops. The lyric came from getting a vicious tongue whipping from someone who had had too many whiskies and extended the lyric to getting beaten. Partly struck by a memory of seeing someone getting slapped by a drunken mate and she just taking it and totally forgiving him. Booze can be a great friend or a hard master, but letting it get you out of control is never acceptable. Some of the movie pix courtesy of Jo Sabin at www.DesignCrowd.com. Others still pending.
