Hey guys its TechGenieT3G, reviewing the Beats by dre Solo 2 headphones. We have collaborated with unboxingsAndReviews to bring you this review. So without any further ado lets get right into it. The 3 main features of these headphones are the removable lead, the ability to fold up and collapse the headphones to put into a travel bag and finally the ability to adjust the size of the headphones to fit the required size of your head. 

A great feature of these headphones is how they pack up very small. To do this you simply have to ‘snap’ the headphones into the ‘D’ shape to fit into the padded foam/ neoprene travel bag.

The style of these headphones which come in 11 different colours is very sleek, clean and minimalistic (meaning they suit almost anyone). The padding around the over ear ear cup is extremely comfortable and provides a great contact for a good sound quality. With some headphones you can get overly large ear cups, however the Beats solo headphones are comfortable and stylish without being outlandishly large. Although we have found after an extensive period of use they do begin to ache your ears.  

Here you can see the neoprene travel bag featuring a lanyard holder at the top to attach the included carribeaner. The travel case has a 180 degree zip allowing for easy removal of the headphones. The bag has adequate protection with a thick lining of foam.

The headband features the beats logo, following the headphones round we can see the obvious ‘b’ on the side of the ear cups. Looking closely to the adjustable band we can see the word solo printed in white font keeping with the clean stylish look.

The second main feature of the headphones is the ability to adjust the size of the band. 

Giving a 360 degree look at the collapsed headphones you can see the styling and the distinctive chrome lining around the ear cups. The beat headphones have the capability to adjust volume, pause and play music and to answer calls with the built in microphone.

An important feature is the potential to remove the lead that connects the headphones to your device meaning you can pack the headphones up easily without bending the cable, this also means the lead is replaceable. Unlike some headphones these do not have bluetooth capability.

To summarise these headphones have a premium build quality and have a very well thought out fashionable design with a large selection of colours. However they do become uncomfortable after a long period of time, they don't have bluetooth capabilities and are quite pricy at £170 on the Beats by dre website.
