Remington 870 reduced recoil?

Poboy had a viewer provide information about a product that can reduce the recoil on a Remington 870. How can this be? It certainly does exist, but does it really tame a 12g. beast? We tested it with regular .00 buck, high velocity steel shot 3in. magnums, and 1oz. slugs to see if we could feel any reduced recoil. The results were pleasant to say the least.
