For very little money, you can use encaustic methods with this electric griddle turned DIY heated drawing/painting board. In this video, I'll show you some safety precautions to take first and trying out various brands of colored pencils. Then, you'll see a short demo and voice over of how the encaustic technique is done. To wrap it up, I give you recommendations for which colored pencils to use for what, and what the wax pastels (I'm using Caran D'Ache's Neocolor II & Lyra Aquacolor) are great for.
