Siân Berry, Mayor of London candidate from the Green Party, took part
in a demonstration at the Tate Modern with the London Citizens group
to highlight low wages in London.

The Greater London Authority calculates that basic living costs in
London require workers to take home £7.20 per hour. But the minimum
wage is £1.85 short of this London Living Wage.

Siân pledges to pay at least the Living Wage to all employees under
the GLA - from City Hall to police stations and bus depots - and carry
on naming and shaming private employers that won't follow suit.
