In a nutshell the magnet allows to regulate the flow of current in a transformer.To prove that there is no energy gain is to tune the transformer back to a new resonance frequency with the same current requirement as before. It simple terms it is a loaded spring you push against it. However it is possible to optimize the system to better performance than before. I will go in more details on my membership website.
