July 2, 2017: Llano County, Texas: Just before 5:30 Llano County officers and Llano Police officers were notified of a pursuit headed towards Llano on highway 29 west from Mason County. Officers from both Llano County and Llano PD responded to a spot about a half mile past the entrance to Rio Llano Subdivision on hwy 29 where stop sticks could be deployed safely between guardrails. Llano officer Amy Shannon was able to successfully spike the suspects tires which resulted in the suspect crashing out about a mile before reaching the city of Llano. The suspect stated the reason she ran was because she had warrants for her arrest. Warrants related to drugs were confirmed out of Bexar county. On a side note the suspect had a blow out earlier in the day and was driving in excess of 110 miles per hour during the pursuit on a donut spare tire. First part of audio was recorded on scanner while we were en route to scene to set up. It was synced up with video in post. Actual pursuit video starts about 3 minutes into video.
