This shows how the hoover deals with an overflow of water when the machine is NOT in use, as long as the power supply is on it will do this. Due to an overflow of suds I turned off the machine but doing so triggered the pressure switch to tell the pcb that the drum was overfilled . As the machine was not in use, the machine decided the water inlet had failed and was letting water in the machine with no way of turning it off, if you was not home for example. The machine drains the drum until the normal wash level is achieved it then stops the pump, if the water starts to rise it will start draining and so on. This is an important feature as I know I can leave the machine without the risk of flooding
