Beating the searing heat, Bengalureans flooded the streets to take part in the TCS World 10K run on Sunday.  Besides thousands of  enthusiasts, several accomplished runners took part in the ninth edition of the event.

In the elite men's group, Ethiopia's Mosinet Geremev became the first athlete to secure back to back titles in Bengaluru. He finished in 28 minutes and 36 seconds. Peres Jepchirchir won the gold in the elite women's group by finishing at 32 minutes and 15 seconds.
