Nintendo plans on continuing to create new smartphone apps, adding two to three each year.  Company president Tatsumi Kimishima discussed Nintendo's app approach during a six-month financial briefing for fiscal 2018. On top of new games, he said, "we will continue services for applications that have already been released."
