This amazing replica was meticulously patterned and detailed by master Hollywood modelers to match the original rifles used in the classic second Planet of the Apes film, BENEATH the PLANET of the APES. Painstaking amounts of time and attention were paid to even the smallest of details while re-creating this sci-fi cinema icon. There is no wood anywhere on this prop. The expert painters are fooling your eyes! The stock is a composite of carbon-fiber, fiberglass, and epoxy resins, expertly detailed and unlike the original cast-aluminum movie props, these epoxy replicas have been "trued-up" so that gunsmiths can accurately "bed" .30 cal M1 carbines into the stocks, which is necessary for target and sport shooters.
