First up is my top Wii Wheel time. Following is my (better) top GCN Controller time. ---------- The Wii Wheel's main hindrance, here, is the lack of absolute precision, even when it comes to keeping straight. At the start, here, I normally have more trouble with the jump, shooting off to one side as I shake the wheel to pull off a trick (there is still a slight amount of lateral movement here). With the controller, I can keep perfectly straight very easily. Just don't touch the control stick. Even something as simple as that is a great deal at saving time. Also notice how I can only feel comfortable doing one mini-turbo with the wheel. ...and I bump the arch at the end. That cost me about a second if you want to compare times.
