(11 Nov 2018) Hundreds of Paris residents protested against US President Donald Trump at the city's Place de la Republique on Sunday. One American resident said seeing Trump welcomed at the Elysee Palace by French President Emmanuel Macron earlier in the day was "hard to bear." The protest, which featured a large blimp of Trump depicted as a diaper-wearing toddler, was held a few hours after world leaders commemorated the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I in Paris. The Trump blimp was the same one flown in Parliament Square, London during the US President's visit to London earlier this year.
