This video explains the process of fusion welding done on high pressure pipes. At first the pipes which need to be joined are brought together and the faces are made clear and parallel to each other as shown in the video (the cutting equipment which rotates does this job). Now both the faces are been heated to about 203 degree Celsius. After the recommended time period of 5 minutes, the heated bar is removed. At this stage the pipes will be in melted state. Now they are been joined with pressure using the hydraulic ram of the equipment. With in one minute time the pipes get joined, and the process is finished.
