Demolition started in the Mont-Bleu area of Gatineau Tuesday following the tornado that ripped through the housing development Friday. People could be seen gathering up what little they could find in the remains of their homes as crews worked to demolish unsafe buildings and clean up debris. Ben Salem and Rebai, who moved to Canada from Tunisia in 2002, smiled a little ruefully when asked whether they had insurance. “We stopped it six months ago … after having it for more than 13 years,” Rebai said.
