Relationships have changed a lot over the years, haven't they? In the past you knew where you stood... A relationship was meant to be one-to-one -- period! Sexual exclusivity was taken for granted. Now of course, things are a bit more complicated... There are swingers and advocates of 'polyamoury' etc. etc...In this sketch (a scene from a dinner party) 3 couples are talking about such things and some of them even claim that they have an 'Open Marriage' -- but what does that actually mean? ... Enjoy! :-) Level: B2 -- C1 / Topic: Relationships -- Marriage Taken from the BBC TV Series 'Not the Nine O'clock News'

M3: - Chester! *
F: You live in Chester? You moved?!
M3: No, no, no...I’m Chester, not Jonathan. *
F: Are you sure?
M2: Excuse me! Have you two ever met each other before?
M3: Look, as a ‘meeting’ - it seems such an old-fashioned kind of concept really, I.. I think if you love somebody, then knowing them isn’t really that important..*
