Come to the Malonga Casquelourd Center in Oakland California and absorb the wisdom of Theo Aytchan Williams, King of Carnaval/SF 2001 and founder of the Samba Funk dance collective in 2010. King Theo’s mission for Samba Funk is to preserve, connect and present African Diaspora culture: music, art, dance and drumming, to underserved communities of color in ways that address the severe health issues that people are dealing with on a daily basis. Samba Funk’s goal is to raise the collective consciousness and vibration on the planet Earth around issues that affect us all, and they get the job done! https://www.360filmmaking.com/test-blog-1/2018/12/4/carnaval-san-francisco-2018
