“Extra’s” AJ Calloway caught up with Shay Mitchell at the MTV Video Music Awards, where she dished on her new Lifetime show “You.” 

Mitchell plays a queen bee type named Peach, and she says, “It's mystery, it's romance and a little bit of comedy, and I’m so excited for people to see this new character that I play.”

“You” premieres Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
