Mountain Charities See Flood Of Donations Before

Before we ring in the new year, Goodwill Industries counts on the "ding." The sound of the bell signifies a donor pulling up in the drive-thru.
"We'll have cars lined up around the parking lot," says district manager Ryan Andrews. "Making those last minute donations."
During these final days, the giving almost doubles. No matter what they drop off, it's the gift that gives back. Here for the receipt, and one more write-off for 2014.
"We did and just a time of getting rid of stuff we don't need and clearing out for other stuff," says Brundi Crawford of Fletcher.
Every donation, whether it's a household item or cash, fuels their job training programs.
"To help get ready for this we've emptied out our workforce development program to help us take donations," Andrews tells us. "We've got extra trailers to receive everything coming in. "
