Richard Bacon leaves Lewisham hospital after coma scare

Richard Bacon has revealed he suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as he returned to the intensive care unit where he had nearly died. The presenting star, 42, fell seriously ill with a mystery lung infection in July and was put into a medically-induced coma, with doctors telling Bacon and his family they 'expected him to die'. According to The Sun, he returned to Lewisham hospital to film for a documentary but forced himself to leave after feeling 'claustrophobic' and 'overwhelmed'.
