"Bleed For Haiti was a kick ass event put on by two go gettin' young scream queens, Tara Cardinal and Devanny Pinn. They put together a kick ass charity event for the Haiti Earthquake Victims at Dark Delicacies, a favorite haunt of mine. I brought Feo, from Feoamante.com, as my wing man, and my trusty American Horrors Crew to cover the event. We got there early, road away late. After rain so hard you couldn't hear us speaking on the radio on Saturday, it was nice to get a sunny day. I got to joke and laugh with some of my favorite folks, like Del, and bump into old friends I hadn't spoken to in over a decade like Stephen Niles. I gotta tellya, it was great to get caught up with Stephen. I've been watching his star rise steadily, I enjoyed 30 Days of Night the movie, and it's good to see a guy come up from the comic trenches and make it with some cool work. I've also watched the stampede of parasites surge towards him as he hit it, too. Good to see his sense of humor and ball busting was all still intact. Fucking great to get caught up. Did I mention the giving blood part? That's right, I gave blood for the first time in over a decade. Luckily I had horror hottie Dai Green to hold my hand and video tape the whole bloodletting. I coughed up a pint, got a free pint of ice cream from Baskin Robbins. Feo gave blood, but there were plenty of horror directors so foul their blood was too rotten for the fine people of Haiti. Hilarious. Hot scream queens everywhere, blood flowing freely, that's a fuckin' party! A wonderful time was had by all!" -Hart D. FIsher's War Journal http://bonedaddy777.livejournal.com/
