(16 Dec 2018) OVER A THOUSAND TAKE PART IN SANTA MARATHON FOR CHARITY Around 1,000 people dressed as Santa Claus participated in the third of edition of a popular Santa marathon in Kosovo's capital of Pristina on Sunday. Santas of all ages took part in the festive run, which aims to raise funds for families in need ahead of Christmas. Event organiser Jusuf Islami said the money raised this year would go to 500 families in Kosovo. He added that the event attracts more and more participants every year. As Santas young and old had crossed the finish line, many cheered as organiser Islami - dressed as Santa Clause - proposed to his girlfriend on stage.
