The Huron Daily Tribune reporter Brenda Battel thinking she had hung up the phone insults of GOP Michigan Senate candidate John James. Thinking she had hung up the phone, Ms. Battel began to shudder at the prospect of Mr. James, an African-American Army veteran, defeating incumbent Democratic Sen.
