2013 marks the 150th birth year of national hero and revolutionary Andres Bonifacio, and to celebrate the milestone, Ballet Philippines collaborated with some of the Philippines' top rock artists and bands in "Rock Supremo." Co-produced with Rock Ed and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), the result was a unique offering of contemporary ballet and rock music to tell Andres Bonifacio's story. In this excerpt presented at TEDxDiliman, rock band Peso Movement reprised its song "Aling Pag-ibig Pa?" for the rock-ballet musical, and, together with Ballet Philippines, shared an exhilarating music and dance interpretation of the greatest love of Andres Bonifacio: his love for the Philippines. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
