The SCO Qingdao Summit Media Center, which opens on June 6, is not a new construction. It is instead based in the Haier Global Innovation Model Research Center, also named The Tip of The Iceberg, a symbol of unlimited resources, self-organization and the gathering and dispersal of resources around a certain goal. The Media Center covers 35, 000 square meters with 29 working groups including the reception desk, the press room and the public area. CGTN reporters show you around on its first open day.
