I went to Moss Landing Pier looking for otters, but saw this large jelly fish swimming up and down. It was at least twelve inches in diameter and the tentacles were even longer. Since I was twenty feet away and was absolutely safe, I was pleased to see it. Though close encounters from childhood years still haunt me.
