Delirium 00:00 02. Persona 04:28 03. Withering Prolog 10:37 04. Summoning 12:15 This assembly of songs has seen a long genesis, from early raw drafts written on one guitar becoming more and more fleshed out with each bandmember that came and went throughout the last 5 years. With the line up being completed by our singer at the end of 2017, final touches to the songs, recording and production commenced until the middle of 2018. The interim result of our ongoing process of making music is this first EP and we´re happy to be able to share it with you. (There´s lots more waiting in the vaults that we´re eager to perform and record so stay posted if you like it!) Impetus are five musicians whose drive and influences create a sound that encompasses both familiar and unprecedented elements. Emotive vocals, driving riffs along with dreamy melodies and soundscapes are guiding through intimate and distinctive songs with themes of emergence and doubt, alienation and insight. credits: All songs written and performed by Impetus produced and mixed by Luis Herrmann and Impetus Artwork by giesevogler.com Impetus Mannheim, Germany
