An experiment in space exploration for the sake of waste management, and understanding zinc.

What is the connection, if any, between outerspace and innerspace?

How is waste a function of space? We -waste- things, but they do not dissapear. They turn into things we no longer want, or worse, they become inacessible and impossible to recover?

Can space be a viable way of disposing of waste? And if yes, how is recovery related to this endeavor?

Certainly scale plays a role here. At what scale do we no longer consider waste a problem?

We pollute the earth while we extract resources at larger and larger scales, and we scale up yet again when we look to relocate gangue, slickens or tailings everywhere and anywhere from the nearby river to outerspace.

Zinc, for example, has to be present in very large quantities before it transitions from helpful to harmful to humans. It would seem that our concept of this metal as a toxin is a function of scale.

This experiment was created using SolidWorks and a 3Dconnexion mouse.

If it makes no sense to you... think of it as a creative exercise or active brainstorming. This is not meant to be entertainment.
