This week our series New Opportunities looks at creative East Germans whose careers got a boost by the fall of the Berlin Wall. In part five,we meet Harald Hauswald,who wanted to become a photographer but was prevented from doing so by the authorities. He was kept under surveillance but still took pictures,some of which were smuggled into the West. He co-founded the Ostkreuz agency in 1990.
