The secret of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 is that it focused everything to make sure it’s fun to drive. During a time, when carmakers have become obsessed with acceleration times, Mazda has gone back to the magic of making them a blast behind the wheel.

The MX-5 or Miata as it’s sometimes called is the modern interpretation of the lightweight British sports car. It follows the same formula basically from the two-seater layout, cloth drop top, and the long hood, short back proportions.

The intimacy of being in a tightly confined sports car is the very same feeling the driver has with the car. The ride is firm, but provides enough compliance as not to cause discomfort to you or your passenger.

As good as it is to drive; it really comes alive when you put the top down. This car is simply engaging and having the roof down just heightens the experience. It sounds like a cliché, but you feel it tapping to your very soul.
