Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner called on Congress Tuesday to grant him broad new powers to regulate big financial companies such as AIG. Secretary Geithner brought up the issue at a Congressional hearing on the financial crisis. As expected, controversial bonuses paid to AIG employees were front and center at Tuesday's hearing.
