ANC dismisses DA/AGANG merge

For more on this and other stories please visit http://www.enca.com/ Johannesburg -- The ANC has meanwhile dismissed the DA's announcement of AGANG SA leader Mamphela Ramphele as its presidential candidate.The ruling party says the move is an attempt to entice black voters, describing it as a 'rent-a-black' tactic. At the same time, ANC voters will have to wait to find out the caliber of candidates the party intends sending to parliament. The party has delayed the release of its list of candidates until an election date is proclaimed, and the nominees' names registered with the IEC.
