Aneesh P. Tarun is a Doctoral Researcher at the Human Media Lab, Queen's University. As a part of his research, he has designed and developed Paper Computer prototypes including a flexible tablet pc (PaperTab, 2013), a flexible stackable mobile device (DisplayStacks, 2012) and a wearable computer (Snaplet, 2011). TEDxQueensU took place on January 26, 2014. All speakers, performers, and demos were focused on the selected theme of 'The Spark'. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
