Anna Bitova is the founder and Director of the Center for Curative Pedagogics -- one of Russia's first organizations that helps children and adolescents with learning disabilities. Since 1989 Anna is in charge of Center's activities helping thousands of families of children with development disorders. Anna is involved in implementing educational programs and internships for professionals of specialized organizations in multiple regions, initiating founding of similar organizations throughout Russia, leading scientific research, publishing and human rights activities. 

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
