Greetings!  Today I give you a very smokey garden update.  We are having a very large forest fire on the Croatan National Forest here in Eastern North Carolina.  They started by doing a controlled burn late last week and it got out of control due to high winds over the weekend.  Now the ocean breeze has shifted and is blowing all the smoke inland.  Not good for respiratory health!  We have to keep the animals inside today and probably tomorrow as well as ourselves.  Not a good recipe for sinus sufferers!

Anyway, I thought I would brave the smoke and the skeeters and give you a quick look at what is going on this very early morning before I head off to work.
