Tokyo grants Greg Kelly bail in Nissan scandal

Former Nissan Motor's Representative Director Greg Kelly has been granted bail, which is set at over 600,000 dollars. Local report say the decision means he could be released from detention before the end of Christmas day. Kelly has been detained along with the company's former Chairman Carlos Ghosn for over a month. They were charged with under-reporting Ghosn's income. Ghosn is now facing several charges including financial misconduct and breach of trust, causing Nissan a loss of about 16 million U.S. dollars in 2008.
