IMAGES OF GERMANY - Six works of art tell the story of the Berlin Republic. It is a bizarre scene: an empty apartment block with a brand new climbing wall in front of it. Councilors in the eastern German town of Wolfen authorized the building of the expensive playground,although it seemed likely that no one would use it. Just one of many examples of misguided investment across Germany. Christian Wolter,a photographer from Bremen,visited several such places and titled the resulting photo essay ?Blooming Landscapes?.
