Paddy Tally has been appointed as manager of the Down senior Footballers. The Tyrone native has a serious C.V. - from the Sigerson titles, to the All-Ireland with Tyrone in 2003, plus seriously impressive campaigns with James McCartan's Down and Galway in 2018. Is he the man to restore the great days for Down Football? It's been a fairly dour last few years. 

Former Down star Danny Hughes, who worked with Tally previously and has been a strong critic of the handling of Football in the county, joined us this morning to talk about Tally's credentials and his own role in getting him appointed. 

Galway manager Kevin Walsh also joined us this AM to chat about the asset he's losing - having worked so closely with the Galbally man in 2018, Walsh is perfectly placed to let us know what he offers.
