Count former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer as one of the people who thinks that the Cardinals need to practice patience before starting rookie quarterback Josh Rosen. #FanSided While talking to FanSided's Mark Carman, Carson Palmer doesn't think Arizona should rush to start their No. 10 overall pick in last year's NFL Draft, despite the rough start to the season from Bradford and the Cardinals. Rosen, considered a steal in last year's NFL Draft, may not be fully ready to accept the responsibility that comes with being a full-time starting quarterback in the league. After all, the Arizona Cardinals are trying to work with a new quarterback and entirely new coaching staff after Bruce Arians retired last season. Bradford may be struggling early, but Palmer thinks the Cardinals need to wait until he gets hurt, or until they're far enough out of the playoff picture that it makes sense to get Rosen reps at the end of the season. Weighing in on other rookie quarterbacks around the league, Palmer was surprised that Sam Darnold got the start in Week 1 over Josh McCown for the New York Jets, despite being the most "can't miss prospect" in the draft. Palmer wasn't shy about his praise for his fellow USC alumni, going so far as to say that Sam Darnold can be the guy that wins you a Super Bowl. While Palmer thinks very highly of Darnold, he ultimately thought that Josh Allen had the best package of the quarterbacks drafted last year. Don't miss a video!
