FAQ: - 1. Why are you streaming this game? Is the full Let's Play cancelled?!? - Not to worry, we'll still be doing a playthrough of this game in the format you've come to expect from us. Two players, one who is familiar with the game, and one who is going in blind. However, just like our Kingdom Hearts 2 playthrough, I want to have notes prepared for this playthrough ahead of time. I started working on notes for this game a while ago, but never got very far because I became too busy with other things and never returned to them. So, I still need to replay the game and gather all my notes. With that in mind, hey, why not share that experience with all of you? Hopefully, you guys will all help me to improve my notes even more! - 2. Wait, Birth By Sleep? Whatever happened to Kingdom Hearts 2 and 358/2 Days? - Well, first of all, our Kingdom Hearts 2 playthrough is actually underway right now, and you can watch it on our second channel, Research Runs! There are a couple of reasons. For one, I lack the means to record Nintendo DS games. Yes, I know there is hardware that allows you to record directly off of a DS or 3DS system, but I don't have any of that and I'm not planning on investing any time soon. Also, while I could emulate the game, I've never messed with that before and that's a whole lot of potential headaches that I just don't want to deal with. In addition, Days is a long game, guys. If we're going to catch up on this series before KH3 comes out, we're gonna have to cut some corners. Don't worry, Joey and Aidan will still be caught up on the events of Days. I'll be loaning Joey my copy of Days to play on his own time. Hopefully we'll be producing a Discussion video about the game after he finishes playing it. - 3. Why the PS3 version? - Because I'm a tightwad. I bought the PS3 versions of 1.5 and 2.5 before the PS4 version was relevant, and with that, I already own two copies of most of these games. I don't want to own three. It would just bug me. - 4. What is the schedule for these streams? - Pfff. Heck if I know. Whenever I can get around to it and feel up to it. - 5. Where will these streams be archived? - For now, they're going to be archived on the main Frustrated Jacob channel. I thought about putting them on the Research Runs channel, but decided against it for two main reasons. The first reason is because we wouldn't be able to preserve the chat. Yes, I know you can overlay the chat over a stream quite easily, but I'm hoping to use the footage from these streams for videos and the like. So Live Chat Replay will be the only way to view chat, and re-uploading the raw video files for this stream to Research Runs obviously won't preserve that. The second reason is MONEY. Research Runs still hasn't been approved for monetization despite the fact that it hit all of YouTube's requirements almost five months ago. Until they review and approve my case, this is the only place I can run ads. Selfish? Yes.
