Hi guys, long time, no video!!! Sorry about that! My Sony Vegas stopped working so I was unable to make any new videos so I'm now catching up in chronological order! So this is from the 13th October at West Wilts. Both videos are of the timed section of the course. I competed in the 80cm restricted and 80cm pairs with my friend Pip. It pissed down the whole day (thanks to my mum for standing in the pouring rein to get these videos!) and we were wet through, but it was soooo much fun!!! In the 80cm restricted class I was 2nd closest to the optimum time so would've finished 2nd in the class, but we had a random stop at the second fence (unexpected as she'd jumped it at least three previous times without even looking at it, so maybe I just didn't ride her into it and took it for granted) so unfortunately missed out! The rest she jumped brilliantly though! In the pairs me and Pip had issues in the warm up due to my horse not taking kindly to being so close to Harry as she jumped so we had a lot of practice fences where on landing Rosie would stick her head on the floor and buck (not sure how I didn't fall off) but we managed to get her used to it! We were competing against Lucinda Fredericks and her daughter, so no pressure ;D It was such a laugh, literally! I don't think we stopped laughing throughout! We would've been fourth, but unfortunately we managed to catch up with the ponies in front of us and one of our horses got distracted and missed out one fence and we decided not to turn around and re-jump as it was just for fun and we had a good momentum so were eliminated. Really enjoyed it and hope to do it again next year, hopefully with Pip and Harry again! More videos shortly!
