Just some updates on my main laptop, the Dell Latitude D500. still works great. When i got this laptop from the school, it was in bad shape. it took about 5 min. to boot up. there were two thing i expected here: hard drive failure, and that the school didn't maintain the systems. they were both true. i think the hard drive was failing. i put in an 80GB and installed XP Home on it. ran like a champ. i cut the boot up time from 5 min. to about 30 secs.
