The talk explores the relationship we have with our clothes and why we should value the stories behind our clothes and the individual worlds and hence stories, we carry on our body every day. I want to share my experiences of becoming more and more aware of the consequence our consumer behavior has and trying to make more conscious decisions regarding what clothing I buy.

I am German and have always lived in Germany. I went to regular German schools before going to an International School and I really appreciate the international spirit. I am very interested in current affairs, politics and history. The topic of my talk is something very close to my heart and I have done research into it for a while now. Ever since I started to become interested in it I kept taking up all the information that was related to it and so I became even more interested in it.
