A nice day spent filming along the Welsh Highland Railway, these scenes were taken between Rhyd Ddu and Porthmadog.

The locos featured in order of appearance during this video are:

 - ex-SAR NGG16 Class 2-6-2+2-6-2 no.143
 - Hunslet built 2-4-0STT 'Linda' from the Ffestiniog Railway
 - 0-6-0D 'Criccieth Castle'
 - ex-SAR NGG16 Class 2-6-2+2-6-2 no.87

Shots included in this video are:

- The top of Snowdon can be seen as it was clear, but also very windy. One of the Snowdon Mountain Railway's resident steam locomotives can also be seen climbing to the summit. We also get a view of the valley below.
 - No.143 is seen rounding the bend at Horse Shoe Curve into Rhyd Ddu, unfortunately going rather slow and stopping outside of the loop at the station. After waiting a while we found out they were doing a loco swap at Rhyd Ddu with no.143 and 'Linda' who had brought a train up from Pont Croesor (Much to our surprise) and would be taking no.143's train back whilst no.143 would be taking Linda's train to Caernarfon as can be seen in the next shot.
 - 'Linda' & 'Criccieth Castle' are seen on there way back to Pont Croesor passing through the beautiful Aberglaslyn Pass.
 - No.87 seen climbing up the Nantmor bank to the first of the Aberglaslyn tunnel, then seen again on the climb to the summit of the line known as Pitt's Head.
 - No. 143 seen coasting along after passing over the summit, giving a whistle for the next crossing along, then seen passing through the Aberglaslyn Pass where there is quite a number of people about compared to the earlier shot.
